I can also prepare students for public speaking, debating, and presentations.

As an experienced GCSE examiner for a national exam board I am perfectly placed to show the students what is expected of them in order to reach the Attainment Objectives. I will guide them through the levels to enable them to apply the skills required. There are strategies. I know them.

WORKING WITH YOUR CHILD

A comfortable quiet environment is the most beneficial for both of us. We should work side-by-side at a table. Access to a laptop is useful but not essential. I will bring all materials with me. There will be work within the session and homework left to demonstrate application of skills taught. I will help with school work but under no circumstances will I execute homework or assignments on behalf of the student.

Although many of you may know other families I work with, be assured your child’s confidentiality will be respected in matters regarding their work with me. Also no school is ever informed of students using my service.

HOURS

An hour a week is recommended for continuity of learning although extra pre-exam sessions are available by negotiation.
